We're looking for a Design Director.

We are searching for an inspiring and dynamic creative leader—a Design Director to join our growing team in Cincinnati. This position requires critical creative thinking skills, dedication, and the ability to inspire and lead teams and clients throughout the creative process. But we don't just want a design thinker...we want someone who rolls up their sleeves with the creative chops to create inspiring work alongside our entire team here at Hyperquake.

This team player must be able to think strategically about how we deliver creative success to clients, and must be experienced in leading multiple project types from concept to completion, while maintaining a consistent voice from marketing and branding, all the way through to a complete product or brand experience. ‬

Our ideal Design Director is capable of working collaboratively with our team and clients to oversee and contribute to any brand's success, while helping us grow and evolve—someone that can lead successful projects and build meaningful relationships.

What we’d like you to bring to Hyperquake:

  • A passion for scaling, leading and inspiring teams while designing.
  • 10+ years experience designing products/brands/experiences from conception to completion (minimum of 10 years post-graduate design experience and 4 years of leadership experience)
  • Experience in articulating consumer insights and understanding
  • The ability to clearly communicate design priorities and principles to a variety of stakeholders and adapt quickly to change.
  • Experience in CPG and Beauty Care industries is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or related degree in design preferred
  • Expert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and an innovative approach to influencing page layout, package design and brand guidelines
  • Knowledge associated with leading intergrated marketing campaigns and go-to-market strategies
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness
  • Demonstrative ability to increase and impact our level of creative output as we continue to grow

Controller

We are searching for a Controller.

We are looking for a controller to join our operations team. This role is responsible for managing the primary day-to-day responsibilities related to planning, implementing and controlling all financial activities of the agency. This includes direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, purchasing and banking, and establishing policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems to ensure the agency is maximizing profitability. The ideal candidate should have proven success in managing a company’s financials. This individual will be a self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes accountability and results.

Controller Skills and Qualifications:
• 5+years’ experience in financial management, or accounting, with demonstrated increases in responsibility.
• Previous agency-related and/or Controller-related experience is a plus, but not required
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in accounting, finance or business administration is required.
• Strong management and leadership skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas and information clearly.
• Extreme attention to detail and outstanding organization skills.
• Collaborative team player able to integrate with a diverse team.
• Ability to think quickly and prioritize
