A digital storytelling platform build to recruit the next generation of champions.

To support the launch of two world-class athletic facilities, Northwestern University partnered with Hyperquake to create a digital experience that would turn architecture into a recruiting powerhouse. The goal: to captivate prospective athletes, coaches, families, and VIP guests with a compelling, unified narrative of Wildcat excellence.

We developed a single cohesive design language and content management system at the Walter Athletic Center, ensuring every screen, story, and space felt interconnected and strategic. The result is an immersive and flexible platform that showcases the university’s commitment to top-tier competition, innovation, and student-athlete success.

Northwestern’s new facilities were built for performance, and their digital presence had to match. We approached this challenge by designing experiences that reflect the energy, pride, and ambition of the university’s athletic programs.

From the moment visitors walk in, dynamic content draws them in: bold motion graphics, team stories, and athlete spotlights—all managed from a centralized, intuitive CMS. Each space feels connected to the whole, reinforcing the strength and scale of the program.
By integrating all locations into a single system, Northwestern can evolve content quickly and consistently. The CMS is designed for long-term use by internal teams, with built-in flexibility for new sports, seasons, and storylines.

Whether for campus visits, game-day walkthroughs, or high-profile events, the digital platform stands ready to serve as a core tool in Northwestern’s recruiting strategy.
