Laying the foundation of a scalable narrative-led strategy for global impact.
As Honeywell evolved from an industrial icon known for its hardware to a leader in industrial software and automation, its Washington, D.C.-based Technology Experience Center (HTEC) needed to reflect that shift—with a fresh look and new stories. With 20+ years of partnership across five global HTECs, Hyperquake was able to draw on deep institutional knowledge to reimagine the space and experience for today’s global leaders, policymakers, diplomats, and enterprise customers.
With story as our strategy, we created a brand-aligned experience framework that invites guests to explore Honeywell’s ready-now solutions to the world’s toughest challenges. The narrative added intrigue to the guest journey, unified Honeywell’s diverse offerings, and guided decisions around both physical and interactive design.
The result: a scalable model for Honeywell’s global centers—consistent in story and experience arc, yet flexible enough to adapt by region or industry. Individual content can also change over time—while the core story remains intact—ensuring the space can keep pace with Honeywell’s growth.
The reimagined D.C. center is now future-ready, bridging Honeywell’s legacy of innovation with the future it’s building.

“The Honeywell Technology Experience (HTE) showcases Honeywell's products and technologies in a way that is unique in Washington. Members and staff on Capitol Hill remember us. The HTE has proven to be a very effective way to tell our story to anyone who spends even 10 minutes walking through the center. It's changed the way we do business in Washington.”
